RentMonthly was born out of the frustration and pain renters go through when searching for monthly rentals. Our founder, Sirajus Salekin, after finishing his Master's from NC State University, wanted to stay in Raleigh for a few months while searching for jobs, but the lease for his prior apartment has ended soon after he gradauted. Not wanting to get into another one-year lease (you know how hard it is to break one of those), he wanted to find a place to rent on a monthly basis.

But he ran into so many issues: the places that were available were so expensive, an insane number of scammers pretending to be landlords, terrible communication between prospective tenants and landlord...the list could be a miles long. As someone who had background in software development, hed decided to build something that would help both the tenants and landlords, with the foucs being month-to-month or medium term rentals. As our origin is rooted into solving issues people face, we are always obsessed with ensuring our users have their needs to met and always strive to provide a solution to their problems.
